BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) broke his own school record in the heptathlon en route to a third-place finish as the Bloomsburg men's indoor track and field team placed tenth at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Championships at Lehigh University on Monday.

Walsh broke his own school record in the heptathlon while earning the bronze medal at the PSAC Championships. His 4,851 points (converted from 4,826) is an NCAA provisional mark and ranks him 28th in the nation. The Old Forge native bested the Bloomsburg record by 126 points. His performance was highlighted by a first-place jump of 1.89 meters in the high jump.

The 4x400-meter relay team of
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon),
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township),
Finnegan Purtle (/) and
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) made it on the podium with a seventh-place time of 3:27.44.

Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) finished tenth in the mile run with a time of 4:23.57. The freshman also placed 18th in the 3000-meter.

Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run High School) ran in the 3000-meter as well, crossing the line in 16th place.

Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) placed 11th in the 800-meter as the freshman ran a time of 1:59.13, while
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) placed 15th. Graham also took 14th place in the mile.

Michael Stebila (/) and
Shaheem Hill (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) tied for 13th in the high jump, posting identical jumps of 1.78 meters.

Freshman
Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) placed 18th in shot put with a mark of 13.24 meters.

Bloomsburg concluded the 2023-24 indoor season and will begin the outdoor season in March.
