Box Score HERSHEY, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team fell to Frostburg State, 5-2, in Hershey on Saturday afternoon.
 
Frostburg went 2-1 in doubles competition to take the doubles point, with Bloomsburg's win coming from the No. 3 doubles match. Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) and Alyssa Mazurek (McAdoo, PA/Hazleton Area) defeated Patricia Castejon and Mariaspa Kotsiou 6-4.
 
The Huskies picked up a pair of victories in singles actions form the No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches. Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) battles closely with Lauren Ceballos to a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 win in the No. 3 singles match. Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) won through retirement over Mariaspa Kotsiou.
 
The Huskies will open conference play on Saturday, March 23 as they host Shepherd at Burt Reese Tennis Center.
