BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg baseball team downed St. Thomas Aquinas College, 3-2, in a come-from-behind victory at Danny Litwhiler Field on a windy, Tuesday afternoon.

Bloomsburg (4-12) used a pair of home runs from
Owen Wilhide (York, Pa/Northeastern) and
Jeremy Stine (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) in the final three innings for its first home win of the season.

The game remained even through three innings before Michael Zeis sent a two-run shot over the centerfield fence to give St. Thomas Aquinas the 2-0 advantage.

From that point on STAC held the Huskies without a hit until freshman
Owen Wilhide (York, Pa/Northeastern) came stepped in as a pinch hitter for his first collegiate at bat in the bottom of the sixth.

Wilhide drove the fifth pitch over the left centerfield wall, recording a home run as his first collegiate hit.

Brady Ebbert (Etters, Pa./Red Land) led off the bottom of the seventh with a single to right field before advancing to second on a wild pitch.
Â
Jonathan LaBarbera (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) tied the game with an RBI-single to left centerfield to bring Ebbert home from second.

Stine gave the maroon and gold the lead in the eighth, launching a solo shot into the trees beyond the left field wall.
Â
Dylan Lubinski (Levittown, Pa./Pennsbury) picked up a pair of strikeouts and the save in the top of the ninth en route to Bloomsburg's first home victory of the season.

LaBarbera racked up multiple hits, going 2-for-3 from the plate with an RBI-single and a walk on the day.

Mason Keene (Bear, Del./Appoquinimink) picked up the win in 2.2 innings-pitched for his first win of the season.
Â
Brian Walsh (Scranton, Pa./Scranton Prep) got the start and allowed just one hit through three innings.
Â
Overall, the Huskies outhit the Spartans 6-5.

Bloomsburg returns to action on Friday, March 22 as it travels to Shippensburg for the start of its weekend-series with the Raiders at 1 p.m.
