BLOOMSBURG, Pa – The Bloomsburg men's track & field team opened its 2024 outdoor season with a second-place finish at the Mid-Week Quad-Meet at Redman Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

The men claimed victory in three events: the 400-meter, the pole vault , and the shot put.
Â
Tyler Lobos (/) cleared the PSAC qualifying mark with a personal-best height of 4.20-meters.
Â
Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) fell .16-meters short of the conference mark while winning the shot put, achieving a 13.84-meter throw on his third attempt.
Michael Stebila (/) set a PR in the shot put with an 11.40-meter throw, finishing in fourth.

Finnegan Purtle (/) won the 400-meter with a personal best time of 51.27.
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) finished third with a time of 52.31.

Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) finished second in the 400-meter hurdles, running a 58.93.
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township) ran a 1:00.73 to finish fourth. Wilson also placed seventh in the 200-meter with a 23.48.

In the 800-meter, Richard Loughran posted a 2:00.47 to finish second while
Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton) ran a PR with a fourth-place time of 2:02.57.

Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) finished second in the 5000-meter with a 15:38.94 while
Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) ran a 16:01.83 to finish third.

Harrison Cronan (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) ran a 11.59 100-meter dash to take fourth while
Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) took fifth with a 11.60.

Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) placed fifth in the 1500-meter with a 4:14.62.

Shaheem Hill (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) ran claimed fourth in the triple jump with a marl of 12.28-meters while
Josh Leininger (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area) placed sixth with a 11.68-meter mark.

The Huskies finished with a team score of 114 points.

Bloomsburg returns to action on Thursday, March 28 as they compete in the second Mid-Week Quad-Meet Hosted by Lock Haven.
