LEWISBURG, Pa. – Senior
Matthew Whitaker's (/) third-place showing in the javelin highlighted the day for the Bloomsburg men's track & field team at the Bucknell Team Challenge, Saturday afternoon. The Huskies finished with 15 team points in eighth overall.

Whitaker took third overall in the javelin with a toss of 54.24 meters (177' 77).
Jackson Baldini (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg Area) finished 13
th overall with a throw of 41.90 meters (137' 6").

Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) and
Brayden Graham (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) earned their spots at the 2024 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Championships with a seventh and eighth place finish in the steeplechase. Riley finished seventh overall with a time of 9:50.86 while Graham took eighth with a time of 9:54.07. The pair now ranks sixth and 10
th, respectively in the PSAC standings.

Tyler Lobos (/) tied his season-best height in the pole vault as he finished sixth overall with a height of 4.20 meters (13' 9.25"). Lobos is currently 16
th heading in to the final week of the regular season of competition.

Shaheem Hill (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) took ninth overall in the high jump at 1.83 meters (6' 0").

On the track,
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) captured seventh overall with a time of 58.54 in the 400 meter hurdles and
Doug Walsh (Old Forge, Pa./Holy Cross High School) finished 12
th at 1:00.51.

The 4x100-meter relay team of
Harrison Cronan (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley), Wilson,
Finnegan Purtle (/), and Walsh took sixth overall with a time of 43.59 while the 4x400-meter relay team of Wilson,
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East),
Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton), and
Peter Umbenhaur (Somerville, N.J./Somerville) finished sixth overall with a time of 3:32.78.

The Huskies return to action next Saturday, April 27 in the final meet of the regular season, hosted by Bloomsburg.
