BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team swept East Stroudsburg University, 7-0, Thursday afternoon. The Huskies improved to 12-7 and 4-1 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action while the Warriors fell to 1-12 and 0-7 in conference play.
The Huskies swept doubles action as
Lexi Quackenbush (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) and
Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) won 6-0 at No. 1 and
Maddie Delisio (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin High School) and
Riley Noss (Mifflinville, Pa./Central Columbia) won 6-3 at No. 2. A win by forfeit gave the Huskies the doubles sweep.
Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) earned the first singles win for the Huskies with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 1.
Alese Rinker (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area) moved up and won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 and Juliana Kin won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3.
Brooke Henry (Saint Mary's, PA/Saint Mary's Area) wrapped up the individual wins with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 4.

The Huskies continue to pursue a spot in the PSAC Tournament as they travel to Millersville for a PSAC East match at 2:00 p.m.
