BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team capped the regular season with a 5-2 win over Shippensburg in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East action, Saturday afternoon. The Huskies improved to 13-8 on the year and 5-2 in conference action.

The Huskies swept doubles matches to claim the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead in the match.
Lexi Quackenbush (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) and
Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) won 6-1 at No. 1 doubles while
Maddie Delisio (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin High School) and
Riley Noss (Mifflinville, Pa./Central Columbia) clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 win at No. 3.
Juliana Kim (Ridgefield, NJ/Ridgefield Memorial High School) and
Brooke Henry (Saint Mary's, PA/Saint Mary's Area) completed the sweep with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles.

Quackenbush picked up her second win of the day with a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles and
Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC) won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) clinched the match win for Bloomsburg with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles.

Alyssa Mazurek (McAdoo, PA/Hazleton Area) won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4 singles.

Shippensburg avoided the match sweep with a win at No. 6 singles and No. 5 singles.

The Huskies open the PSAC Tournament on Tuesday, April 30 when they head to No. 2 West Chester for a 4:00 p.m. match in West Chester, Pa.
