BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team is set to face off against West Chester in the opening round of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

The Huskies enter the contest with 5-2 record, posting a 2-1 Â conference record over the last week.

In conference play,
Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) holds a team-best record of 5-1 while
Lexi Quackenbush (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel) is 4-2 in PSAC matches this year from the No. 1 singles spot.
Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School),
Alyssa Mazurek (McAdoo, PA/Hazleton Area),
Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) and
Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC) have each won three singles matches.

In doubles action Ilkovic and Quackenbush serve as the top pair for Bloomsburg, going 4-3 from the No. 1 doubles slot in conference play. Nakonechna and Seele are undefeated in doubles competition with three wins. Overall, the maroon and gold hold a doubles record of 15-6 in conference play.

West Chester enters the PSAC Championships with a 6-1 conference record. The Golden Rams held off the Huskies 4-3 in their April 6 contest.

The winner of Tuesday's match will face off against the three-time defending champions, IUP, in the semifinals on Friday, May 3 at Burt Reese Tennis Center in Bloomsburg. Â
