WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's basketball team fell on the road to West Chester, 101-52, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup inside the Hollinger Field House on Saturday afternoon.

Danny Bruce (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) posted a team-high 11 points in the contest on 5-for-8 shooting while recording two steals, two rebounds and block.
Louie Wild (Philadelphia, PA/Roman Catholic) recorded 10 points while hauling in four rebounds. Freshman
George Sabatini (Mountain Top, Pa./Holy Redeemer) tallied a team-high five rebounds while recording 11 points.

West Chester (16-3, 12-1 PSAC) posted its best shooting percentage of the season against Bloomsburg (3-16, 2-10 PSAC), going 38-for-68 from the floor (55.9 percent) while hitting 14-of-24 from beyond the arc.

An early surge from the Golden Rams gave them a 4-0 advantage before
Danny Bruce (Edinboro, Pa./General McLane) responded with a three-pointer. A pair of layups from Bruce put Bloomsburg ahead 7-4 two minutes into the contest. From there, an 18-2 run from West Chester that spanned seven minutes of game time gave the momentum to the home team. The Golden Rams continued to extend its lead, taking a 55-28 advantage into the locker room at the end of the half.

The second half saw Bloomsburg put pressure on WCU early, causing a pair of turnovers before Wild knocked down a three-pointer to open the scoring. A defensive stop gave the Huskies the ball back and allowed Bruce to get himself wide open in the paint for an easy layup. Bloomsburg was unable to cut down on the West Chester lead, falling to the Golden Rams, 101-52.
