LEBANON, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team begins competition at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships at Iron Valley Golf Club on Friday morning.
 
The Huskies have had a successful season under first-year head coach Chad Anthony. The team's lowest round came in the opening round of The Gauntlet at Bucknell Golf Club in which the team posted an 18-over 298.
 
Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) enters his third PSAC tournament after leading the maroon and gold with a 77.2 scoring average across six rounds. The senior posted a season-low 74 on two occasions. The Pottstown-native finished tied for sixth at the Husky Invitational on Thursday, October 9. Last year at the PSAC Championships, Berish tied for 23rd to record the Huskies best individual placement in program history.
 
Senior Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) will compete in his third PSAC Championships this weekend. The Corning, N.Y.-native has had an excellent fall season, posting a score in the 70's in all but one round. Neally enters the conference tournament with a season-average of 77.8.
 
Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) finds himself on the Huskies' PSAC Championship squad for the third time in as many years. The junior tied for 15th at the Husky Invitational with a six-over 78 and has posted a 78.0 scoring average this fall. At. The PSAC championships last fall, Bush tied for 25th overall.
 
Two newcomers to the Husky will make their PSAC Championships debuts this weekend. Transfer junior Connor Matteo (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) has had an impressive year in his first season with the Huskies, posting an 80.5 average. Freshman Rylan Bravin (Frederick, Md./Urbana) will make his PSAC Championship debut after recording a 77.8 average across four rounds this season.
 
The tournament runs from Friday, October 17 to Sunday, October 19 with Berish teeing off first at 11:40 a.m.
