LEBANON, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team sits in seventh after the opening round of the 2025 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Golf Championships at the Iron Valley Golf Club on Friday afternoon.

As a team, Bloomsburg posted a team score of 308 (+20) and sits 13 strokes back of the co-leaders, Shepherd and West Chester.

Junior
Connor Matteo (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) currently leads the Huskies, posting a three-over par 75 to sit in tie for 15th. The Drums-native had an excellent front-nine, with two birdies to got one-under par. Matteo had ten pars and three birdies on the day.

Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) sits one stroke back of Matteo after carding a four-over 76 and is in a two-way tie for 23rd. The senior was great down the stretch, going one -under par through the final six holes.

Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) is tied for 25th after recording a five-over 77 in the opening round. The junior has notched a team-high four birdies on the day.Â

Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) rounds out the Huskies' scorers as in day one with an eight-over 80. The senior posted 13 pars throughout the date. Freshman
Rylan Bravin (Frederick, Md./Urbana) was the non-scorer for Bloomsburg and is tied for 41st at 11-over par 83.

The second round of the 2025 PSAC Men's Golf Championships begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 18 with Bravin teeing off with the first group.
