LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – With 17 saves across two games this past week, senior netminder
Maura Greek (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Greek had a pair of standout performances for the Huskies, notching a combined 17 saves against East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg.

The Garnet Valley native blanked the No. 2-ranked Shippensburg Raiders with nine saves while posting four stops in the shootout as the Huskies won 1-0 on Saturday.

Greek recorded eight saves in Bloomsburg's 3-2, double overtime loss to No. 4 East Stroudsburg on Wednesday night.

The senior currently sits atop the NCAA leaderboard in shutouts with eight while she is fourth in the nation in save percentage (.756).

It is second weekly award for Greek this season and the fourth overall for the maroon and gold.

Greek and the Huskies head on the road on Wednesday, October 21 as they take on No. 5 West Chester at 5 p.m.
