BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg field hockey team has announced its Summer Blast Competition on Saturday, July 25.
 
Open to high school field hockey teams, the competition allows programs to prepare for the 2026 season with a guaranteed four games.
 
Games will be 25 minutes long and will be officiated by PIAA officials. All games will be played between two different turf fields, with five minutes between each game.
 
The start time for the competition is as early as 7 a.m. and is dependent on the number of teams registered. A maximum of 14 teams will be excepted.
 
The team entry fee for the Huskies' Summer Blast is $500 and each needs a coach present to compete.
