BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg field hockey team was featured in the first edition of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Rankings.
 
The Huskies post a 12-3 record so far this season while sitting at 4-3 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play. Bloomsburg boast the nations' fourth-best defense, allowing an average of just 0.77 goals per game. Maura Greek (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) has posted nine shutouts this season and holds a .829 save percentage.
 
Offensively, the maroon and gold are among the top offenses in Division II, posting 59 goals this season. Genna Bush (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) is leading goal-scoring charge for Bloomsburg, posting a PSAC-leading 16 goals.
 
Bloomsburg has just two games remaining in the regular season and needs one win to clinch a berth in the PSAC tournament. The Huskies also moved up to fifth in the latest NFHCA Coaches poll released on Tuesday.
 
 Bloomsburg competes next on Saturday, October 25 as the travel to IUP for a 7 p.m. contest.
