Box Score 4 BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's tennis team claimed four match victories at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic Regional Championships over the weekend.

Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) won her opening round matchup in a lengthy, 6-2, 1-6, 11-9 battle against Salem's Galia Mezouar. The Melbourne-native fell in the round of 32 to IUP's Lea Von Kozierowski, 3-6, 1-6.

McDonald teamed up with
Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) in doubles play and picked up an 8-5 victory over the Davis & Elkins duo of Erin Laubscher and Liebe Oosthuizen. The pair dropped in the round of 16 to the eventually doubles champions, Sara Martinez and Filippa Larsson from Charleston.

After falling in the opening round, Ilkovic picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win over Salem's Mezouar in a consolation match.

Lia Sophie Seele also picked up a consolation victory in a 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 win against Bluefield's Ekin Ozman. Seele fell in the opening round of doubles play, 5-8, alongside
Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC).

Bloomsburg is back in action again on Thursday, October 9 as they host Daemen at 2 p.m. at the Burt Reese Tennis Center.
