BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's golf team placed third and eighth at the Husky Fall Invitational at The Golf Course at Frosty Valley on Thursday afternoon.

Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) led the Huskies with two-over 74 to tie for sixth. It was the best round of the season for the senior, as he notched three birdies and ten pars.

Freshman
Connor Matteo (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) finished just outside the top-ten, tying for 11th with a five-over 77. Matteo recorded five birdies on the day, including four in a six-hole span.

Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) tied for 15th, sitting a stroke behind Matteo with a six-over 78. The junior ended the day with nine pars and two birdies.

Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) rounded out the scored for the Maroon squad, carding a seven-over 79 to tie for 21st. The Corning, N.Y.-native tallied one birdie and ten pars.

The lone independent for Bloomsburg,
Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley), tied for 28th with a nine-over 81.
Rylan Bravin (Frederick, Md./Urbana) was the non-scoring member of the maroon team and he posted a ten-over 82.

John Lee (Seoul, South Korea/Southwest Christian) and
Luke Bratetic (Chandler, Ariz./Perry) led the Gold team with matching 12-over 84's to tie for 35th. Aiden Scott and
Bryson Hicklin (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) each recorded a 14-over 86 to tie each other for 37th.
Charlie O'Connor (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) tied for 39th with a 15-over 87.

Bloomsburg's Maroon team placed third with a 20-over 308 while the Gold team finished eight at 52-over (340).

Men's golf is out of action until Friday, October 17 as they begin competition at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Golf Championships at the Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon. Â
