Hatajik, LaFrance Named to Jim Crawley Conference Challenge All-Tournament; Hatajik Earns Tournament MVP Honors

The Huskies went 2-0 to start the 2025-26 season with wins over West Virginia Wesleyan and Frostburg State.

FROSTBURG, Md. - After a 2-0 weekend at the Jim Crawley Conference Challenge, Alison Hatajik (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg) and Maddie LaFrance (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) were named to the All-Tournament Team. For her leading efforts on the offensive end and on the glass, Hatajik earned Tournament MVP honors.

Hatajik got off to a stellar start in her junior campaign with a great display over the weekend. The forward averaged 20.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 63.3 percent shooting from the floor. Hatajik started the event with a career-high 16-point performance to go with eight rebounds and a career-best five assists while going 8-for-12 from the floor in the Huskies 70-67 win over West Virginia Wesleyan.

The junior one-upped her own output on Friday with an even better display on Saturday. Hatajik posted another career high, this time going for a new career-best with 24 points. The forward went shot 11-of-18 in the contest while grabbing nine boards, dishing out two assists, and blocking one shot. Hatajik had 16 points in the first half for Bloomsburg in the team's 68-63 victory over Frostburg State. 

LaFrance proved to be a reliable shot maker for the Huskies over the weekend, averaging 12.5 points while shooting .450 from the field and .438 from three-point range over the weekend. The redshirt senior began the weekend with a 16-point game against West Virginia Wesleyan. LaFrance was 6-of-12 from the field and 4-of-9 from behind the arc in the season opener, adding two rebounds and an assist against the Bobcats. In game two of the season, LaFrance had nine points for Bloomsburg, all coming from deep. The guard was 3-of-7 from three-point range and grabbed four boards.
