BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Head coach
Susan Kocher announced upcoming winter clinic dates scheduled for January and February of 2025. Clinics for pitching, infield work and hitting are set to be held at Nelson Field House on the campus of Bloomsburg.
All participants for all clinics are required to have a parent or guardian in attendance during scheduled times.
Pitching Clinic - January 18
The Personalized Pitching Clinic features three students for one pitching instructor per hour. You choose how many hours of pitching instruction you want. It is recommended that pitchers sign up for no more than two hours of pitching instruction. The instructor will be Bloomsburg head coach/pitching coach
Susan Kocher. The Personalized Pitching Clinic will provide instruction for the basic fundamentals of the windmill pitching motion as well as teaching and fine-tuning various pitches - change-up, drop, curve, screw and rise. Troubleshooting and mental aspects of the game will also be stressed. This clinic is for beginner to advanced pitchers, ages 10 and above. The instructor will adapt the clinic to the skill level of the pitcher. Each pitcher must provide their own catcher for each one-hour clinic.
Registrants should fill out the linked form with their preferred clinic times and mail a completed form and payment to the Bloomsburg softball office. Access to the form can also be found at the

Hitting Clinic - February 8 (Space is Limited)
The focus of the clinic is to teach the basic hitting technique of fastpitch softball. The clinic is also designed to teach the hitter to take her skills to the next level with instruction on hitting the inside, outside, high and low pitch and changeup.
Participants will be divided into groups according to age. The clinic is recommended for participants in 4th through 12th grade. Further information can be found online with the

Current members of the Bloomsburg softball team will assist with the facilitation of the clinic.

Infield Clinic - February 8 (Space is Limited)
