GREENWOOD, Ind. - Five members of the Bloomsburg men's soccer team earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors as announced on Tuesday. The selections from the Huskies squad are seniors
Braden Alicea (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Lower Moreland),
Sam Blumberger (Colchester, Conn./Bacon Academy), and
Quaid Molino (Charleston, S.C./Wando (S.C.)), along with junior
Owen Hollobaugh (State College, Pa./State College) and redshirt freshman
Caleb Sitler (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra).
In his fourth season, Alicea appeared in all 19 games this season for Bloomsburg, making 16 starts. The defender led the team with four assists in 2025. The finance major, is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a two-time D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award honoree and is a three-time CSC Academic All-District choice after finishing 11th in career assists with 13 after 77 career games and 72 starts.
Blumberger, a finance major earns his first CSC Academic All-District honor. The senior is a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a two-time D2 ADA Scholar-Athlete. The converted forward became an all-conference midfielder for the Huskies in 2025, receiving second-team All-PSAC East designation. Blumberger finished his fourth season with three goals and three asssits for nine points.Â
Hollobaugh garners his first CSC Academic All-District distinction. The team leader in points with 11 this season, Hollobaugh added another four goals and three assists to his totals. The forward from State College is a business major. The junior is a two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a one-time D2 ADA Academic Achivement Award recipient.Â
Molino picks up his first career CSC Academic All-District honor in his senior. Statistically, the midfielder recorded two assists for Bloomsburg in 2025. The former transfer and two-year member of the Bloomsburg men's soccer team is a one-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a one-time D2 ADA Academic Achivement Award honoree since becoming a member of the Huskies. Â
The final Academic All-District selection, Sitler gets the nod in his first season eligible. The redshirt freshman finished his first season of action with 3 goals and one assists after not seeing action in 2024. The forward appeared in 19 games for the Huskies this season, including four starts. Â

The 2024 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or significant reserve – playing in at least 90 percent or starting in at least 66 percent of the team's contests.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
