BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg field hockey team moved up to sixth in the last editions of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings on Wednesday afternoon.

On Saturday, November 1 the Huskies completed their regular season with a 2-1 victory Millersville to clinch its spot in the PSAC Tournament. The win moved the maroon and gold's record to 13-4 entering the postseason.

Bloomsburg fell 2-0 to Shippensburg in the PSAC quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 5, however the regional rankings only factor in games played through November 2.

Genna Bush (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) is fifth in the nation in goals per game with .89 while tallying 16 goals on the season.
Sophie Lawler (Newport, Pa./Newport) leads the team with seven assists while
Kate Ferguson (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) is second on the team in points with 16, recording five goals and six assists.

Maura Greek (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) is second in the nation in shutouts with nine while holding a .819 save percentage.

The Huskies now await a potential bid to the NCAA tournament with the selection show on Monday, November 9 at 9:30 p.m.
