GREENWOOD, Ind. - Four members of the Bloomsburg women's basketball team received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District distinction as announced on Tuesday. The four selections feature seniors
Lauren Kirsch (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin) and
Ava Stevenson (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity), as well as redshirt sophomore
Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) and sophomore
Alison Hatajik (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg).
Kirsch, a business management major, finishes her senior season with her third CSC Academic All-District honor of her career. The guard was one of seven players to appear in all 30 games for the Huskies this season, making 11 starts in her fourth campaign. Kirsch wraps up her time as Bloomsburg as one of the most accomplished three-point shooters in program history, one of 15 players with over 100 makes, coming in at 11th overall with 113. The senior is additionally a three-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a two-time D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient.
Stevenson had a breakout campaign in her second season at Bloomsburg after transferring. The guard earns her first CSC Academic All-District recognition with the nod. An elementary education major, Stevenson finished third on the team in scoring, averaging 8.0 points on 38.3 percent from the floor and 38.7 percent from behind the arc. Stevenson led the Huskies in three-point percentage while tying for the team lead in three-point field goals (41). The guard's 2024-25 season included 11 double-digit scoring games, including a career-high 22 points on the road at Clarion. The senior is a one-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a one-time D2ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient.Â
Leszcynski, a middle education math major, picks up her first CSC Academic All-District nod after a return to the court for the 2024-25 season. The redshirt sophomore jumped into a prominent role for Bloomsburg, playing in all 30 contests while making 12 starts on the season. The guard averaged 5.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game during the 2024-25 campaign. Leszcynski additionally played a complementary role along the perimeter, making 32.2 percent of her three-point attempts with 28 makes from deep on the season. Leszcynski is a two-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a one-time D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient.Â
Hatajik is the Huskies fourth CSC Academic All-District selection, with the sophomore garnering her first such honor. Hatajik, a supply chain management major, took on a role as one of Bloomsburg's primary post options, seeing action in all 30 games for the Huskies while making 27 starts. The forward saw improvement across the board in her second collegiate season, finishing the year averaging 5.4 points and 3.9 rebounds in 16.8 minutes per contest. Hatajik finished in double figures seven times and recorded her first collegiate double-double on the road at Gannon. The sophomore is a one-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete.Â

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA — for each gender.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or significant reserve – playing in at least 90 percent or starting in at least 66 percent of the team's contests.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
