BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Head coach Alison Tagliaferri and the Bloomsburg women's basketball program announced registration for the "Junior Huskies" Elementary Basketball League.

The league is available to boys and girls from kindergarten through sixth grade and runs on a five-week schedule running from October through November, with all activities scheduled in the mornings. The league begins on Saturday, October 11, and runs through Saturday, November 8. All instruction and games will be held at Nelson Field House.

The young players will get a chance to be coached by and work with current members of the women's basketball program and coaches while participating in competitive games. Skill instruction will run from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 9:30 a.m., with games set to begin at 9:40 a.m. and run to 11:00 a.m. The cost to register is $100 per player for the five-week league. A parent or guardian is required to attend with their participant(s).

Dates (All Saturdays): 
Week 1 - Saturday, October 11 - 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Week 2 - Saturday, October 18 - 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Week 3 - Saturday, October 25 - 9:00-11:00 a.m.
Week 4 - Saturday, November 1 - 8:30-10:00 a.m.
Week 5 - Saturday, November 8 - 9:00-11:00 a.m.
