EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg baseball team dropped a pair of tough pitching battles to East Stroudsburg, 1-0 and 3-0, at Creekview Park on Friday afternoon.

Corey Daniels (Forest City, Pa./Forest City), Brady Ebbert (Etters, Pa./Red Land) and Jacob Reifer (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia Area) each posted two hits on the day for Bloomsburg (9-14, 1-5 PSAC East) while mike miller, Judah Miller (Halifax, Pa./Halifax) and Nathan Kress (Lansdale, Pa./La Salle College H.S.) each notched on hits on the day. Game One – East Stroudsburg 1, Bloomsburg 0

Bloomsburg tallied a pair of hits from Daniels and Ebbert in the top of the first but were unable to plate a run. Reifer singled in the top of the second for his first hit of the game.

A pair of doubled from the Warriors in the bottom of the third allowed East Stroudsburg to plate the games only run.

Game Two – East Stroudsburg 3, Bloomsburg 0

The nightcap saw the Warriors get on the board early, scoring on a two-out, RBI-double. Daniels broke up the no-hit bid to lead off fourth inning with his second hit of the day but was unable to be brought home.

The Warriors brought in a pair of insurance runs in the fifth on the back of three singles and a sacrifice fly.

Landon Lorson (South Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) pitched a complete game, allowing three runs on six hits on 97 total pitches.
