Softball Cancels Weekend Home Opener Against Seton Hill

The scheduled first home games of the season for the Huskies are off due to concerns over weather and playing conditions.

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Due to current field conditions and forthcoming weather, the Bloomsburg softball team's home-opening series against PSAC West foe Seton Hill on Saturday, March 8 has been canceled. 

The announcement comes after a review of options for the continuation of the weekend series. The two games would be a rematch from last season's meeting at the PSAC Championships in Quakertown which saw the Griffins knock the Huskies out of the tournament with an 8-0 result. 

Bloomsburg will now turn its attention to the following week with a midweek doubleheader on Thursday, March 13 for play at Jan Hutchinson Field against Jefferson. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
