GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five members of the Bloomsburg men's cross country and track & field programs earned 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run),
Jackson Baldini (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg Area) and
Dillon Steffy (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry) earned their second-career All-District nod while
Tyler Lobos (Lewisburg, Pa./Milton Area) and
Andrew Kane (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) receive the honor for the first time. Â

To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and rank among the top 50 in their NCAA Regional Championship (cross country) or among the top 50 regionally in an individual event (track & field), according to TFRRS.

Dufrene, a senior information technology and analytics major with a 3.82 GPA, earned his second-career All-District distinction. Dufrene ranked 41st in the region in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best time of 10:21.20.

A senior accounting major with a 3.74 GPA, Baldini finished the year ranked 38th in the Atlantic region in the Javelin with a personal-best mark of 47.98-meters. The Mechanicsburg native received the recognition for the second time in his career.

Steffy, picks up his second-career All-District honor after ranking 32nd in the region in pole vault with a mark of 3.85 meters during the indoor season. The senior earned a 3.56 GPA while majoring in supply chain management.

Lobos, a senior digital forensics and cybersecurity major, earned a 3.98 GPA to pick up his first Academic All-District distinction. The Lewisburg native ranked 23rd in the region in pole vault during the indoor season while ranking 29th in the event during the outdoor season.

Kane, a junior mathematics major with a 3.54 GPA, claimed his first All-District honor after an impressive year in the multis. The junior ranked 12th in the heptathlon and 15th in the decathlon. Kane also ranked 32nd in the indoor pole vault and 39th in the event during the outdoor season.

The 2024–25 CSC Academic All-America teams will be announced July 16.
