COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Bloomsburg field hockey team moved to sixth in the latest edition of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Coaches Poll as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.
 
The Huskies hold an 8-0 record this season while allowing just one goal. Bloomsburg has outscored its opponents 44-1 while allowing just 12 shots on goal.
 
This past week, the marron and gold went 3-0 with victories over St. Thomas Aquinas, Roberts Wesleyan and D'Youville. The Huskies did not allow a shot while outscoring their opponents 19-0.
 
Genna Bush (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) leads the NCAA in goals this season with 11 while freshman Arianna Deliso (Easton, Pa./Easton) is tied for seventh with six goals. Bush also leads the nation in points with 23.
 
In net, Maura Greek (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) has a nation-leading .125 goals against average while posting the second-best save percentage at .917.
 
Bloomsburg returns to action on Saturday, September 27 as it opens its PSAC schedule against Frostburg State at 2 p.m.
