EDINBORO, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's cross country team opened the season at the Doug Watts Open hosted by Edinboro as a shortened preview of the 2025 PSAC Cross Country Championships. The Huskies finished eighth out of 11 scoring teams with 204 team points in the 6K race.
Junior
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) led the way for the Huskies as he finished 20
th overall with a time of 20:23.4. Freshman
Rex Farr (/) impressed in his first collegiate race as he took 31
st overall with a time of 20:47.0. Fellow first-year Husky
Brenden Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) finished 67
th overall with a time of 21:39.3.
Sophomore
Braeden Arnold (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) finished 82
nd overall with a time of 22:42.0 and senior
Zach Ryan (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) took 83
rd with a time of 22:55.0 to round out the top five runners for the Huskies.
Aaron Simpson (/) finished 91
st overall with a time of 23:40.6 and
Colin Snyder (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) took 102
nd with a time of 25:40.1 to finish out the scoring for Bloomsburg.
Salahudinn Abdul-Hamid (State College, Pa./State College Area) finished 104
th overall with a time of 26:03.0.

The Huskies return to action on Saturday, September 13 at the DII/III Challenge hosted by Kutztown University.
