First Half:
Maynard started the scoring for the Huskies with a layup. Both teams traded baskets throughout the quarter with five separate Huskies scoring. Maynard led the team with four points, and the Huskies ended the quarter up 13-9.
Bloomsburg started the second quarter well by putting up six quick points, almost putting the lead into double digits. The Golden Rams started to whittle down the lead, but with some scoring, including a Hatajik three-pointer, their lead increased to 10. West Chester was not out of it yet, almost ending the first half down by four, but a buzzer beater from Hatajik ended the half 34-28.
Second Half:
Bloomsburg started to pull away this quarter, with scoring from Hatajik, Stevenson, Maynard and Ferguson. The Huskies' lead was well into the double digits and looked like they had this game in the bag. The third quarter ended with Bloomsburg up 55-39.
Bloomsburg's defense played stellar to start the final quarter. They did not allow the Golden Rams to score until there was 6:15 left in regulation. The offense did not play too well, only making two field goals out of six shots. Without the offense putting any pressure on West Chester, the Golden Rams brought the lead to eight. Thanks to some free throws from Shults, Hatajik and Stevenson, the comeback was sealed shut and the Huskies won.
