SELINSGROVE, Pa. — The Bloomsburg women's track & field team delivered an impressive all-around performance at the River Hawk Invite on Saturday at the Susquehanna-Garrett Sports Complex, recording multiple event victories along with several PSAC-qualifying and an NCAA provisional mark.
Sophomore
Abby Parise (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) led the Huskies with a pair of standout performances, winning the 60-meter hurdles in 9.07 seconds to meet the PSAC qualifying standard. Parise also captured the long jump title with a leap of 5.76 meters, qualifying for the PSAC Championships and meeting the NCAA provisional standard. Freshman
Courtney O'Hagan (Farmingville, N.Y./Sachem East) followed with a fourth-place finish in the hurdles with a time of 10.23, while Bloomsburg swept the top three spots in the long jump as
Devin Hubler (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area) (5.49 meters • 18' 0.25") and
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) (5.35 meters • 17' 6.75") finished second and third, respectively, both a PSAC-qualifying mark. Hubler went on to win the triple jump with a PSAC-qualifying marking o 11.16 meters (36' 7.5") and
Jordin Bowman (/) finished seventh with a jump of 9.60 meters (31' 6").
On the track, freshman
Kendra Stout (/) claimed the 200-meter title in 26.75 seconds and took second overall in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.09.
Abby Rochester (Pocono Summit, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) finished fourth in the 60 finals with a time of 8.25 and
Maddy Ikeler (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) finished sixth with a time of 8.35.

In the 200, Ikeler finished fifth overall with a time of 27.99 and Rochester took 10
th overall with a time of 28.77.
Aleese Stair (/) captured 13
th with a time of 29.07.

In the 800 meters,
Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) placed third in 2:30.15, while
Ashlyn Albright (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) finished fourth with a time of 2:34.53.

Bloomsburg dominated the mile with
Cori McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) winning in 5:21.03 and Werner finishing second in 5:23.20.
Haley Conner () (4
th • 5:38.34), Albright (5
th • 5:39.12) and
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) (6
th • 5:39.63) all finished inside the top six.
Distance events were another area of strength as junior
Melina Turner (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) won the 3,000 meters in 11:21.20.
In the field,
Jordin Bowman (/) cleared 1.61 meters (5' 3.25") in the high jump to place second and earn a PSAC qualifier.
Aria Messner (Avoca, Pa./Pittston Area) finished fourth overall as she cleared 1.53 meters (5' 0.25") and
Jewel Little (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg Area) finished fifth with a height of 1.48 meters (4' 10.25").
Paige Casterline (Bucks County, Pa./Palisades) finished 10
th overall as she cleared 1.43 meters (4' 8.25").
Hannah Gerhart (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) finished seventh in the pole vault with a height of 2.57 meters (8' 5.25") and
Bailey O'Keefe (Effort, Pa./Pleasant Valley) finished ninth with a height of 2.42 meters (7' 11.25").

The Huskies were strong in the throws as
Mikaela Sullivan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) placed second in the shot put with a PSAC-qualifying mark of 12.22 meters (40' 1.25").
Morgan Langdon (Dallas, Pa./Dallas) finished seventh with a throw of 11.51 meters (36' 7") and
Laura Dunn (/) took eighth with a throw of 11.03 meters (36' 2.25").
Julia Beccari (Lake Ronkonkoma, Pa./Sachem North) finished 11
th with a throw of 10.51 meters (34' 5.75").

Grace Lippincott (State College, Pa./State College Area) added a PSAC qualifier in the weight throw, placing second at 15.09 meters (49' 6.25"). Beccari finished fourth with a throw of 14.20 meters (46' 7.25"), a PSAC-qualifying mark, and Sullivan took fifth with a throw of 14.18 meters (46' 6.25").
Annissah Magloire (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg Senior) took ninth overall with a throw of 13.38 meters (43' 10.75") and
Sarah Trimble (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford Area) finished 13
th with a throw of 11.99 meters (39' 4").

The Huskies get back to action next Saturday when they head to the Gulden Invitational hosted by Bucknell on January 24.
