BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's track and field team enters the 2026 PSAC Indoor Championships with championship potential in the horizontal jumps and key scoring opportunities in the throws and middle distance events.

Sophomore Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) leads the Huskies after earning the fifth seed in the long jump (7.06m) and fourth in the triple jump (14.65m). Ajuz will enter the weekend as a strong contender in both events. Ajuz broke the 50-year old school record in the triple jump earlier this season.

Sophomore Trevor Johnson (Kintnersville, Pa./Palisades) adds depth in the horizontal jumps, competing in both the long jump, seeded 17^th (6.70m) and triple jump, seeded 16^th overall (13.67m).

In the throws, junior Cameron Williams is seeded seventh in the weight throw (17.02m), placing him firmly within scoring range. Senior Michael Taylor (/) (9^th • 16.30m), freshman Dylan Krugh (Bangor, Pa./Bangor Area) (15^th • 14.95m) and senior Jack Donchez (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty High School) (16^th • 14.94m) add depth in the weight throw. Junior Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) will compete in the shot put and is seeded 14^th (15.31m).

Andrew Kane (Bradford, Pa./Bradford Area) looks to score points for the Huskies in the heptathlon as he is seeded ninth with 4137 total points.

On the track, junior Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) is seeded fifth in the 800 meters (1:55.09), while freshman Chris Schearer will compete in the 400 meters (50.60) and is seeded 18^th. Justin Herrmann (Palmerton, Pa./Palmerton Area) is seeded 10^th in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.42.
 
The 4x400-meter relay enters seeded eighth at 3:24.33, and the distance medley relay is seeded seventh at 10:44.63.

With top seeds in the jumps and scoring opportunities across track and field, the Huskies will look to convert strong seed marks into championship points this weekend.
 

The Championships get under way on Saturday, February 28. The facility opens at 9:00 a.m. and the men's long jump kicks off the day at 11:00 a.m.
