BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's basketball team was bested by East Stroudsburg, 82-60, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) bout inside the Nelson Field House on Wednesday night.

Bloomsburg (6-16, 3-12 PSAC) went 22-for-52 (42.3 percent) from the floor as a team, including a 14-for-30 (46.7 percent) performance in the second half.
Gabe Springer (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Wallenpaupack) led the team with 12 points, going 5-for-10 on the night with two free throws. The forward also notched five rebounds and two blocks.
Courtney Davis II (Gainesville, Va./Patriot) finished with double-digit as he tallied 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting and four free throws.

Springer opened the scoring for the night early, sinking a jumper in the paint on the Huskies' first possession. East Stroudsburg (16-6, 10-6) responded immediately with a layup from Christi Pierre-Louis to tie the game. A jumper from
George Sabatini (Mountain Top, Pa./Holy Redeemer) put Bloomsburg back up before Pierre-Louis struck again with a three-pointer to take the lead for the Warriors. The marron and gold regained the lead momentarily later in the frame, but ESU quickly took it back before starting to pull away.

With the score at 18-14 in favor of the visitors, a 10-0 Warriors' run pushed them ahead by 14 with six minutes to play in the half. Bloomsburg was able to put an end to the run, but East Stroudsburg slowly grew its lead to 43-25 heading into the halftime break.

The Huskies struggled offensively at the start of the second half, as ESU slowly extended its lead to 33-points. The later portion of the frame saw Bloomsburg's offense start to shine, ending the contest on a 20-9 run before ultimately falling 82-60.

Bloomsburg does not find itself back on the court until Wednesday, February 11 for a 7:30 p.m. contest down in West Chester.
