Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) tied for sixth while the Bloomsburg men's golf team finished in eighth place after a strong showing in day two of the Jefferson Spring Invitational at the Jeffersonville Golf Club on Friday afternoon.

Berish posted on third-best score of the day, carding a two-over 72 in the second round to tie for sixth. The Pottstown-native shot even on the back nine in a round that saw 12 pars and two birdies. Berish was one of the biggest movers on the leaderboard, jumping 21 spots after sitting in 27th on Thursday.

Connor Matteo (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) moved up 11 sports after posting a seven-over 77, tying for 40th. Matteo birdied the fourth hole while going three-over on the back nine.

Rylan Bravin (Frederick, Md./Urbana) shot an eight-over 78 and notched just one bogey on the front nine en route to a 38th-place finish.

Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) tallied four birdies and shot an 81 (+11) to finish 41st.
Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) rounded out the Huskies lineup with a 16-over 86 and tied for 40th.

Bloomsburg recorded a 28-over 308 on the day and finished with a combined team score of 630 (+70).

The Huskies are back in action on Tuesday, March 24 as they host Montclair State for a dual match at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley.
