LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's golf team opened the spring season by winning the Lock Haven Invite at Clifton Country Club by 54 strokes on Thursday afternoon.

Bloomsburg took down Lock Haven, 353-407.

Noemi Krizso (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall Central) and
Sophia Reed (Estero, Fla./Estero) tied for the win, each posting a 12-over 85. Reed's round featured five pars and two birdies while Krizso notched six pars and a birdie.

Emma Lewis (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown) finished one stroke back in third, carding a 13-over 86 with seven pars. Newcomer
Morgan Gerringer (Danville, Pa./Danville) claimed fourth as an independent with a 20-over 93.
Gabby Hubbs (Bourbonnais, Ill./Bradley Bourbonnais Community) took fifth as an independent, posting a 21-over 94.

Emma Tolbert (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) rounded out the Huskies scorers with a 97 (+24) to tie for sixth.
Kate Pettersen (Okotoks, Alberta/North Shore Academy) finished tied with Tolbert with a 97 over her own.
Nadia Yackanicz (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) placed ninth with a 98(+25) while
Kali Koontz (Albion, Ind./Central Noble) posted a 125.
