KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Sophia Reed (Estero, Fla./Estero) took second place at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships while women's golf finished fourth after the final round at Berkleigh Golf Club on Friday afternoon.
 
The Huskies matched their best performance at the PSAC Championships with a fourth-place finish at 159-over par. The combined score of 1,023 is the best team score at the conference tournament by eight strokes.
 
Reed became the highest finisher at the conference tournament in program history after carding a four-over 76 on the final day to take second. The freshman posted an impressive four birdies and nine pars in strong finish to the tournament. Reed had four pars and a birdie in the final five holes to hold off her playing partner, Anastasia Lopes from Gannon, for the silver. The Estero, Florida native finished the tournament with a combined score of a 16-over par (232).
 
Emma Lewis (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown) tied for 20th with Clarion's Kennady Norton at 41-over par for the event. The freshman notched six pars and a birdie to shoot a 14-over 86. Noemi Krizso (New Windsor, N.Y./Cornwall Central) matched her second-round score of 88 (+16) to finish in 23rd. The junior tallied five pars and recorded a three-day score of 259 (+43).
 
Nadia Yackanicz (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) slotted back into the Huskies' lineup for the final round carded an 18-over 90. The round featured seven pars and saw the freshman cut seven strokes off her round one score. Yackanicz finished 52nd as she did not participate in the second round.
 
Emma Tolbert (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg Area) tied for 41st after posting a 29-over 101 in the final round. The sophomore ended the PSAC Championships with a 70-over par 286.
 
The PSAC Championships concludes a stellar first season under head coach Chad Anthony in which the Huskies amassed six team victories.
