Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. - The Bloomsburg women's tennis team defeats Ithaca 6-1. 

The match started with the duo of Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) and Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) taking the #2 flight 7-6 in a hard-fought victory. Lily Sierka (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bethel Park) and Sarah Buck (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville) secured the team point for the Huskies by taking the #3 flight 6-3. 

In singles, Ilkovic went down early in the #2 flight, but she came back and took the win 3-6, 6-3, 6-0. McDonald joined her doubles partner in the win column with a 6-2, 6-3 victory in the #3 flight. Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC) took the #4 flight into three rounds, winning 3-6, 6-2, 6-2. Sierka gave the Huskies almost swept the #5 flight 6-0, 6-1 while Buck won the #6 flight 6-2, 6-1 in dominant fashion.

The Huskies will travel to play Fairmont State on March 15 with a start time that is to be determined.
