DANVILLE, Pa. – Jarred Berish (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) claimed the individual title at the Husky Invitational for the second time in his career as the Bloomsburg Maroon team won the team title at the Golf Course at Frosty Valley on Thursday afternoon.

Bloomsburg claimed the team title in its home tournament for the second time as the maroon team posted a 17-over 304. The Huskies finished three strokes ahead of second-place Millersville. The gold team place sixth with a score of 339 (+51).

Berish picked up his fourth career win by carding an even-par 72. The senior's round featured five birdies and eight pars. Berish's round featured back-to-back birdies on holes four and five and a three-under stretch from holes 13 to 17. The Pottstown previously won the Husky Invitational on October 10, 2024 with a program record 69 (-3).

Connor Matteo (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) tied for second while posting a three-over 75. It is his career-best score and finish with the Huskies. Matteo recorded 13 pars and one birdie on the day.

Patrick Bush (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon) picked up a top-ten finish as well, tying for eighth with a six-over 78. The junior opened the round with a birdie on the 443-yard par four. Bush impressed down the stretch, posting eight straight pars to close out the round and notch his best finish of the season.

Luca Neally (Corning, N.Y./Corning-Painted Post) rounded out the scorers for the maroon team in a tie for 14th, shooting an eight-over 80 with two birdies and seven pars.

Matt Pulcinella (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley) and
Bryson Hicklin (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) ended the day as a part of a four-way tie for 18th as the pair finished 10-over par (82). Pulcinella was the non-scorer for the maroon team and tallied nine pars while Hicklin led the gold team with eight pars and a birdie.

Competing as an individual,
Rylan Bravin (Frederick, Md./Urbana) recorded a 12-over 84 and posted six pars and two birdies to tie for 22nd.

Nash Bostdorf () tied for 24th as he posted a 13-over 85 with 10 pars. Aiden Scott and
John Lee (Seoul, South Korea/Southwest Christian) both posted a 14-over 86 to round out the scoring for the gold team.

Individual
Charlie O'Connor (Silver Spring, Md./Albert Einstein) finished in a tie for 29th with a 17-over 89 while
Jake Achenbach () tied for 33rd with a 20-over 92.

Men's golf is back in action on Tuesday, April 14 as they compete in round one of the Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational hosted by IUP.
