LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Nicole Ilkovic (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy High School) was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Athlete of the Year while three Huskies earned All-PSAC East First Team honors as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
Ilkovic took home the athlete of the year award while claiming first team singles honors after posting an impressive 21-6 record in singles action and a 16-9 record in doubles play. The Langhorne native becomes the first Husky to be named PSAC Athlete of the Year since Katie Hasyn in 2008.
In singles action, Ilkovic went 5-0 at No. 1 singles in conference play while going 16-4 in dual matches. The senior went 16-9 overall in doubles play, competing with both Jen McDonald (Melbourne, Australia/Brentwood Secondary College) and Dasha Nakonechna (Spain/IOC).
Ilkovic and Nakonechna grabbed a spot on the first team doubles after going 5-3 together this season. The duo went 3-1 in conference, including a 2-0 record at No. 1 doubles. It is the third consecutive first team doubles distinction for Ilkovic, who previously claimed the honor alongside Lexi Quackenbush (Pittsburgh, PA/Fox Chapel). Nakonechna earned her second all-conference first team nod for doubles after claiming a spot alongside Lia-Sophie Seele (Mülheim, NRW, Germany/Luisenschule) last season.
Lily Sierka (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bethel Park) impressed in her sophomore season, claiming All-PSAC First Team Singles honors with a 16-9 record on the year. The Pittsburgh native posed a perfect 5-0 record in conference play, working primarily at No. 4 singles.
The women's tennis team finished the 2025-26 season with a 15-6 record that saw the Huskies make a run to the PSAC Semifinals.
