Kelly Leszcynski (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) continues to etch her name into the Bloomsburg women's track & field history book as she became the program's first three-time All-American as she finished ninth overall in the javelin at the 2026 NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Saturday afternoon.
Leszcynski entered the championships seeded eighth with a season-best throw of 47.05 meters (154' 4") from her win at the PSAC Championships. Leszcynski earned a spot in the finals with a throw of 45.79 meters and secured her All-American status. She had a consistent day on the javelin runway and threw a 46.02 meters (151' 0") with her fifth throw to secure her ninth-place finish.
The Nazareth, Pa. native adds second-team All-America honors to her already impressive resume. She was the 2025 National Champion, is a two-time PSAC Champion, and earned First Team All-American honors with a fourth-place finish in 2023. She is a three-time All-Region performer and a CSC Academic All-District All-American (2025) in track & field. Leszcynski is a three-time All-Conference honoree and holds the Bloomsburg school record in the javelin and the top-10 throws in program history.
