COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Bloomsburg field hockey senior forward Genna Bush (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) was named to the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II Watchlist, powered by Performance Sports Events, as announced by the organization Thursday morning.
Bush is Bloomsburg's representative among the 42 NCAA Division II student-athletes selected to the national watchlist. The recognition highlights student-athletes who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered strong candidates for NFHCA All-Region and All-America honors this season.
Bush enters her senior campaign after earning NFHCA Division II Second Team All-America and NFHCA Atlantic Region First Team honors in 2025. She started all 18 games for the Huskies and led the team with 16 goals and 34 points. Her 0.89 goals-per-game average led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference and ranked fourth nationally, while her 16 goals tied for sixth in Division II.
The forward recorded six multi-goal performances during the season, including a hat trick against Mercy. She also delivered the game-winning goal in four consecutive contests and earned PSAC Athlete of the Week and NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week honors in September.
Bush has been a fixture in the Bloomsburg attack throughout her career, appearing in 58 games with 57 starts and totaling 34 goals, four assists and 72 points over her first three seasons. She scored nine goals in each of her first two campaigns and was named the 2023 PSAC Freshman of the Year and a Second Team All-PSAC selection.
Student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches and were required to have earned qualifying field hockey recognition within the previous two years. Qualifying distinctions include NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-America, all-conference, NCAA All-Tournament Team, Senior Nexus Championship or national and international team recognition.
The watchlist is intended to showcase returning and emerging standouts entering the 2026 season. Selection does not guarantee future NFHCA postseason recognition.
