BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg field hockey team wins in overtime 1-0 against Franklin Pierce to stay undefeated on the season.
The Huskies defense was lock down by only allowing one shot from Franklin Pierce the entire game.Â
Though Bloomsburg won 1-0, they had possession of the ball for over 90% of the game. The Ravens struggled to even get within the striking circle because of that Husky defense. The only shot from the Ravens was saved by
Molly Bross (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge). Bross and Bloomsburg's defense now have had three shutouts in four games.
Genna Bush (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) continues her four-game goal streak by scoring the game-winning goal in overtime. She now has five goals in four games.Â
On the Horizon:
The Huskies will travel Rochester, New York to play Roberts Wesleyan on Sept. 18. The game will start at 6 p.m.
