SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
2021-2022 was very successful for the distance program. Junior Luke Scoboria posted ten lifetime personal best performances in a career season. He capped it by grabbing four A Finals at the PSAC championships in the 200, 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle. He also contributed to the Huskies second place finish in the 800 free relay. Scoboria's performances were the best by a men's distance swimmer during Hilferty's tenure.
The stressful season that was 2020-2021 saw many of Hilferty’s distance swimmers excel at the PSAC Championships. Sophomore Luke Scoboria totaled 43 points at the PSAC Championships while gaining two Top 8 swims and two more in the Top 16. Sophomore Jimmy Greek added another 44 points in achieving three Top 8 and one Top 16 performance. The 2019-2020 campaign had Hilferty guiding freshmen Luke Scoboria, Ryan Keenan and Jimmy Greek to scoring 60 team points at the PSAC Championships. The trio grabbed three A Finals with Scoboria gaining all three, along with four B Finals with Keenan gaining two, and Scoboria and Greek with one each.

In the 2016-17 season, she coached freshman Doug Boehme to his first team record in the 500 free and the #2 performance all-time at Bloomsburg in the 1000 free and 1650 free. Additionally, she guided Logan Winchester to top-eight finishes in the 1000 and 1650 free events at the PSAC Championships.

It marked the first time in program history that a swimmer broke the 16-minute barrier in the 1650 when Sherbo posted a time of 15:57.12 at the PSAC Championships.
