Senior Trevor Allard was one of eight Huskies to take first place in their respective pools on Sunday while competing at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic. Allard, who improved to 7-0 in the first two weekends of the season, competed in the B pool at 184 pounds and opened with a defeat of Hofstra's Charles Small by major decision, 11-2, and then earned a 10-4 decision over Oklahoma's Ruston Duke. In his final bout of the day, Allard edged Lehigh's Dylan Ammerman, 6-5, to go a perfect 3-0. The redshirt senior is 7-0 on the year with first-place results at the Clarion Open and at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic in is first two weekends.
