Redshirt sophomore Josh Mason went 2-0 in the Bloomsburg University wrestling team's opening weekend of competition against Hofstra and Drexel. Mason, ranked 21st in the country according to the latest FloWrestling rankings, picked up where he left off last season by pinning Hofstra's Vinny Vespa 40 seconds into the second period in his opening match of the season. He would later earn a 3-2 decision over Hofstra's Justin Hoyle for his second victory of the year. Mason went 19-10 last year while leading the Huskies - and ranking in the top ten in the country - with 10 victories via pinfall.
