Junior Ashley Blannard had a sensational week for the women's track and field team as she competed at both Shippensburg on Wednesday and at East Stroudsburg on Saturday.

At Shippensburg, Blannard won the triple jump with a distance of 11.40 meters which now ranks her second in the PSAC. She also finished second in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 5.70 meters. That leap puts her fourth among PSAC long jumpers. Blannard then won both the triple jump and the long jump at East Stroudsburg on Saturday with distances of 11.05 meters and 5.54 meters, respectively.

Prior to Wednesday, Blannard previous best in the long jump was 5.61 meters at Millersville on April 3. Her triple jump on Wednesday was just shy of her personal long of 11.57 meters she jumped at the Maroon and Gold Invitational on April 27, 2019.
