Senior Chelsea Ackerson won the first two individual conference titles of her collegiate career as she helped the women's swimming team to a runner-up finish at the PSAC Championships on Friday and Saturday. Ackerson won her first PSAC title by posting a time of 10:38.06 in the 1000-yard freestyle to open the championship meet on Friday morning. She won the event by more than eight seconds. She then added her second individual title in the 1650-yard freestyle, winning by more than 25 seconds, as she posted a time of 17:32.63 to open the evening session on Saturday.

Ackerson added a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle - her third All-PSAC swim of the championships - as she touched the wall in 5:12.61. She also helped the Huskies to a fifth-place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay and led all Huskies' swimmers in the 200-yard freestyle with a ninth-place result (1:57.82).
