Kyle Dix helped the men's swimming team to its fourth consecutive runner-up finish at the 2019 PSAC Swimming Championships last week. Dix posted two individual titles and was part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that also captured gold. He added three second-place finishes and ranked second among all swimmers at the championships with 74 total points. Dix won the 100-yard breaststroke with a personal-best time of 55.60 and then won the 100-yard butterfly with a personal-best and "B" cut time of 48.22. Dix took second in the 50-yard freestyle (20.19) and posted a personal-best and "B" cut time of 44.94 to place second in the 100-yard freestyle. His 400-yard freestyle relay winning team posted a time of 3:02.02 while his second-place 400-yard medley relay team had a time of 3:19.17. Dix also swam a 50-yard freestyle time trial and improved his season-best time to 20.09 which currently has him tied for 18th in the country.
