Kirsten O'Malley from the women's track and field team reached the podium four times on Saturday which included a PSAC title in the 4x800-meter relay as the Huskies finished tenth overall at the 2019 PSAC Indoor Championships. O'Malley ran the opening leg of the 4x800-meter relay as she joined sophomore Autumn Avery and freshmen Riley Snyder and Kathryn Blair for a winning time of 9:27.84. O'Malley was also part of the 4x400-meter relay team that took seventh with a time of 4:07.92. Individually, O'Malley placed third overall in the triple jump with a mark of 11.62 meters and took eighth in the long jump with a distance of 5.34 meters. O'Malley had a hand in 19 of the team's 31 points it scored at the championships. She currently ranks ninth in the country in the triple jump with a season-long distance of 12.24 meters and is in position to head to Pittsburg, Kansas on March 8 and 9 to compete for a national title in the event.
