Senior Ryan Shiffer helped the Huskies' baseball team to a four-game sweep of Mansfield by hitting .417 (5-of-12) with three home runs and eight runs batted in. He led the team in RBI over the four games and also added a pair of doubles for a team-best slugging percentage of 1.333. The home runs were his first three of the season and gives him 14 for his career. His first home run of the series came in the bottom of the fifth inning of game two on Thursday which broke up a no-hit bid and put the Huskies ahead 2-1 - a game Bloomsburg would eventually win by a 3-2 final. He also hit a home run in each game of Monday's doubleheader sweep at Mansfield. Shiffer is hitting .318 on the year with three home runs and 16 RBI.
