BLOOMSBURG -- The Bloomsburg University men's tennis team posted a 9-0 win over Chestnut Hill on Wednesday night. The match was the first dual meet of the season for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles play with the teams of Fernando Perez (Center Valley, Southern Lehigh) / Ricky Dove (Port Matilda, State College Area) and Brandon Cummings (Tallahassee, FL, Chiles) / Seth Rybak (Huntingtown, MD/Huntingtown) (Huntingtown, MD/Huntingtown) both winning by 8-0 scores.
In single play, Perez posted a 6-2, 6-0 win at number one singles, while Lee Wexler (Lafayette Hill, Plymouth-Whitemarsh) won 6-0, 6-4 at number three.
Bloomsburg (1-0) hosts Mercyhurst on Saturday at 3 p.m.
