MEET RESULTS
BLOOMSBURG--The men's swim team picked up its first win of the season on Saturday against Albright College by a score of 137-114 at the Nelson Field House.
The 200-medley relay team of
Mike Lightner (Lebanon, Cedar Crest),
Nick Ortlieb (North Wales, North Penn),
Juan Castaneda (Shamokin, Shamokin Area), and
Mike Wallace (Bloomsburg, Bloomsburg) opened the meet taking first in a time of 1:38.41.
Wallace picked up his first win of the season in the 50-free with a time of 22.19, while freshman
Bryan Masilotti (Vineland, N.J., Vineland) finished second in a time of 22.42. Lightner took third in the event with a time of 22.69.
The Huskies also swept the 1000-free and the 100-breast. In the 1000-free
Tom Hayes (Collegeville, Perkiomen Valley) took first with a time of 10:55.65,
Pat Malone (Sewell, N.J., Goucester Catholic) finished second in a time of 10:55.77, and
Brendan Malone (Horsham, Hatboro-Horsham) took third in the event with a time of 10:59.69.
Ortlieb took first in the 100-breast with a time of 1:03.05, while
Tim Dorsch (Schwenksville, Souderton Area)finished second with a time of 1:03.14.
Michael Busada (Bloomsburg, Columbia County Christian) took third with a time of 1:03.57. Dorsch picked up his second win of the season in the 200-breast with a time of 2:20.01, while
Kyle Weisenbach (Lincoln University, Avon Grove) finished a close second in a time of 2:20.29.
Bloomsburg 1-1, will host West Chester on Saturday for a meet at 1:00 p.m.
